Here are more 1950s sax blowouts! Volume three features 22 tracks (7 tracks are previously unissued) from United Records artists Eddie Chamblee, T.J. Fowler, Sax Mallard, Jim Conley, J.T. Brown, Swinging Sax Kari, and from Regal Records, Wild Bill Moore and Floyd Taylor. Peter Watrous of the New York Times says about volume one "the sound of the R&B tenor saxophone, moaning, shaking, quivering and groaning...dance music, made for Saturday nights".
