One of the tricks to making good toys based on movies is finding a way to stay faithful to the artistic vision of the film while still constructing a toy that's actually fun to play with. Fortunately this entertaining horse and rider set featuring the elf Legolas and his steed from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King manages to strike that tricky compromise. Legolas bears a strikingly realistic resemblance to actor Orlando Bloom and wears a basic green outfit with cape, pants, and a simple tunic. His long hair appears to billow behind him and he carries a quiver of arrows (which cannot be removed) on his back. He carries a pair of daggers and one arm can be made to move in a slashing motion when a button is pushed on Legolas' back. His white horse has a black mane, a simple saddle, and face guard. He also appears to gallop when a button is pushed on his back. --Charlie Williams
