When the inheritance of a rich spoiled daughter of a deceased rock star is stolen, the young woman has to find her first job in order to make a living. After realizing that she's not qualified for anything, she accepts a position as the nanny to an emotionally distant eight-year-old. They find solace in the fact that they both consider themselves lonely.
