This anodized, machined aluminum tube provides extra focuser back travel, which is sometimes needed to achieve focus with certain eyepiece/telescope combinations. More back travel is often needed for short-range terrestrial viewing through a telescope, or with use of a field flattener, coma corrector, or focal reducer lens. Adds 2 inches of length extension. This 2" extension tube features two locking thumbscrews and is threaded for use with 2" filters.
