Owning an extra quick release shoe for your Paragon HD-F2 or Paragon-Plus XHD tripod will allow you to leave a shoe attached to each of your cameras/telescopes for quick attachment to the tripod. Photographers often leave a dovetail shoe attached to each one of their cameras, so that they can very quickly switch them around and still use the same tripod. An extra quick release shoe can also be used as a replacement if you have lost your original mounting shoes.
