La pueblerina María es forzada por sus padres a casarse con un viejo boticario aunque ella ama a Juan. Llega Antonio, hijo del boticario y Maria y su hermana Amapola se enamoran de el, Antonio se inclina por Amapola. Ella duda en aceptarlo por el amor que le tiene a su hermana. Juan regresa y Maria huye con el. Antonio y Amapola serán felices. Spanish no Subtitles Maria, a small-town girl, is forced by her parents to marry an older druggist even though she loves an absent Juan. Maria and her sister Amapola then fall in love with the druggist’s son, Antonio, who likes Amapola. She, however, keeps her distance in deference to Maria. Juan returns and runs off with Maria.
