Hui 'Ohana is one of the most significant groups in Hawaiian music history and played a major role in the Hawaiian Music Renaissance of the 1970s. They were contemporary, yet celebrated the traditional Hawaiian culture. They were not afraid of putting their unique interpretation on someone else's song and making it better.
