The Merit rubber expanding drum has a 1" drum diameter and 1" drum width to securely mount sanding sleeves with a 1" inside diameter onto a grinder that accepts a 1/4"-diameter shank. The rubber drum expands when rotated, holding a sanding sleeve in place without the use of adhesive or clamps. It has a 1/4"-diameter shank that inserts into a grinder's chuck.
