Product Review
As France's best-known monarch, Louis XVI (1638-1715), also known as "Louis the great" or the "sun King" reigned over France and Navarre from 1643 to 1715. His reign was one of the longest in European history. After the Death of Mazarin, he personally took on the running of the Kingdom, which he ruled as an "absolute monarchy" with an Iron fist. Fond of art and architecture, the chateau de Versailles and its gardens (where we can admire the equestrian statute faithfully copied by Papo), remains his most impressive achievement.
