'Notes From The Underground' is Medeski, Martin & Wood's first CD, released in 1991. This independently produced record catapulted them into a major record deal with Gramavision/Ryko in the early nineties. Critics gave 'Notes' very favorable reviews and the album still holds up after 13 years!
