Teamwork & Trust . "People do understand - maybe more than you think," Aunt Maggie says to Callie, after Callie and her bad attitude have been dropped off at Maggie's ranch for the summer. While Callie's mother is in England on an assignment, Callie must learn how to pull her weight around the ranch and learn some responsibility. As Rafe, a talented young horse trainer, reaches out to her by teaching her to ride, she helps him discover that something is seriously amiss about Kiah, a "wild" thoroughbred horse. When Snapper, a horse trainer gone bad, tries to sell Kiah illegally, Callie relies on her street smarts to outsmart Snapper. Soon, Rafe and Callie figure out that to save Kiah, they must prove he really is a champion. Callie and Rafe will need a little luck and a whole lot of teamwork and trust.
