This beautiful 80 page book written and illustrated by renowned nature artist Majolien Bastin is filled with dozens of illustrations of birds, animals, flowers, butterflies, and more. Bastin writes: "Friendships between human beings are different in many ways from 'friendships' between things in nature, but still there are some striking similarities. Both types of friendship are about giving and taking and needing one another to be complete. Just as we depend on our human friends for companionship and understanding, so the nature creatures depend on each other for many of their needs." Sections include: Gifts, Birthdays; Color, Old Friends; New Friends; Pets and more. Also included in an envelope found on page three is a letter to the reader from Bastin.
