Kirby Grant, Gloria Winters. Follow the adventures of rancher Sky King, a former WWII aviator who patrols his hometown of Grover City in his twin-engine plane, getting people out of (and into) scrapes. This entrancing and often edgy show combined the new technologies of the '50s with timeless Western-style storytelling. Episodes include "The Wild Man," "Sky Robbers," "A Dog Named Barney" and "Bullet Bait" (all airing on 12/28/58). 1958/b&w/104 min/NR.
