This very thin, very light weight Box Chain is solid Sterling Silver made in Italy and it's probably the most popular type of pendant chain out there, because its smooth strong and very flexible. At 0.031 inch (0.8 mm) thick, this is our second thinnest box chain. And as in all our chains it is nickel free and hypoallergenic. Word of caution, please beware that many vendors call this same size chain 1.0 mm
