The Creme Lavante au Citron works like an exfoliate due to its lemon zest extracts which, once emulsified on the hair and scalp have a cleansing action. Lemon extracts, Chamomile and St. John's Wort are essential in re-balancing the hair's pH - which becomes alkaline during the coloring process. The extracts also prevent the loss of the pigments in the water. The color stays shiny and intense, the hair is once again soft and silky and the scalp is soothed.
