- MEASURING PIPE THREAD SIZE TO FIND THE RIGHT THREAD TYPE CAN BE CONFUSING. THREAD DIMENSIONS ARE CONSIDERED A NOMINAL SIZE AND DON'T MATCH STANDARD UNITS OF MEASUREMENT. USING THE PROPER PIPE THREAD TYPE IS CRUCIAL FOR MAINTAINING AND INSTALLING EQUIPMENT, SO HELPING YOU DETERMINE WHAT PIPE THREAD YOU NEED IS IMPORTANT TO US.
- This fitting will only work with American Pipe Threads. Will not work with Hose, Compression, flare, etc.
- Class 125 (150) for Steam, Water Gas, Oil and Air Service.
- Pipe Threads should be tightened ups to 2 1/2 turns past finger tight. They are not meant to thread all the way.
- These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.
