This is the Most Worthwhile CD Representation Yet Issued of the Enjoyable Music of "sweet" Bandleader Art Kassel. Chicago-born Art Kassel (1896-1965) was One of the Favourites Among the Great American "sweet" Bands of the 30s and 40s, Alongside Such as Guy Lombardo and Jan Garber. The Tenor Sax-playing Composer and Leader of the "kassels-in-the-air" Enjoyed a String of Chart Successes, and Still Has Quite a Following.
