A Beka Spanish 1a & 1b Por Todo El Mundo is a wonderful tool to learn Spanish. My daughter is homeschooled and takes Spanish at group lessons. She finds the book user-friendly. The Vocabulary companion book is also user-friendly and helpful. Her teacher, a retired private school teacher, has been using this book for decades and says it does a good job of building a solid foundation for learning Spanish.
