Product Review
The Maisaura was a duck-billed dinosaur who lived in what is now western Montana late in the Cretaceous period. Recent discoveries suggest that these and other hadrosaurs nurtured their young. Newly hatched Maisauras were only 14 inches long and weighed about 1.5 pounds. This model includes an independent nest model with two young hatchlings. Part of the award-winning Carnegie Dinosaur Collectibles, it has been authenticated by paleontologists from the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, which houses the largest collection of dinosaur fossils in the world. The Maisaura with Nest and Hatchlings has been individually hand painted, features solid construction from quality, safe, phthalate-free and lead-free materials, and includes an educational hangtag in 5 languages. A 1:40 scale model, Safari Ltd's Maisaura with Nest and Hatchlings measures 11"L x 3.5"W x 4"H. For Ages 3 and up.
