As many films have indicated, dress code was not always the highest priority in Vietnam, so the American Special Forces soldier figures not only accurately display the uniforms of the Special Forces unit, but they also include many variations of it. Most men are wearing the typical M1 helmet, but for variety, and to better identify this as a Special Forces unit, others are wearing berets, two are wearing boonies, and a couple have no headgear at all, perhaps in homage to the characters of popular Vietnam War films.
