Used as gaskets on the doors of wood burning stoves. Graphite impregnated to resist abrasion and last longer. Used as original equipment by major stove manufacturers as well a replacement for worn out gaskets. Abrasion resistant. Blends in with the stove. Resists creosote adhering to it. Withstands temperatures up to 1000-degrees fahrenheit. Gasket cement and full directions are included in the package.
