Each Christmas since 1981, the First Presidency has commissioned a special leatherbound book to be printed as gifts for Church employees (the 81-87 editions were softbound leather). These books are of high quality, with attractive binding, giving them great appeal to collectors. The 1988-93 books are by far the most difficult to obtain.
