For the past 15 years, the duo over the Rhine (named for a color full and controversial neighborhood in Cincinnati, where the band got its starts) has been writing and performing songs that not embrace the world they see around them, but the world they live in. Rich in texture, warmth, and emotional depth, their songs, together with Karin's on the spot delivery, have won them critical praise, tours with their musical heroes (including Bob Dylan and Emmylou Harris), and such loyal fans that it's more like members of a wonderfully eclectic and close family. Putting together this collection was a labor of love for Karin and Linford. This CD is more akin to a photo album allowing the listener to relive bright moments in along and adventurous musical journey.
