A traditional green China tea from FujianProvince which dates back to the Song Dynasty in the 9th Century. This green China tea is produced in the time honoured way. After plucking, freshly picked jasmine flowers are added to the tea and left overnight to infuse. In the morning the jasmine flowers are removed, but the lovely fragrance of jasmine remains on the tea. This tea is best served alone or sweetened with sugar or honey. This light, delicate tea with its floral aroma is an ideal afternoon or after dinner drink and is the traditional complement to oriental food.
