CLEMATIS: Always called the "Queen of Vines," nothing else makes the spectacular show of a clematis in full bloom. In almost all zones, these magnificent plants decorate mailboxes, trellises and porches with cascades of some of the most beautiful blooms in the flower kingdom, and they're not difficult to grow. There's no reason you can't add them to your landscape. Award winner with 7" pale purple-pink petals with a broad dark-pink central streak. Flowers start to appear from 4" up the stems. Blooms from May right through till October. Early flowers are double while the later ones are single. One of the heaviest-blooming clematis. Cross between Clematis 'Hagley Hybrid' and Clematis ' mahrouyi'. Proper name: Clematis 'Piilu'
