These high-performance thermostats are designed to resist the large variations of coolant pressures that occur at high RPMs, where fluxuations in temperature and pressure can keep the thermostat from opening at its designated temperature. These feature an all-brass-and-copper construction, and open at the right temperature regardless of the engine's RPM.
