2007 release from Squeeze singer/songwriter Glenn Tilbrook. The Past Has Been Bottled features Glenn's original demos for songs that would eventually become Squeeze's masterpiece, East Side Story. 18 tracks including four previously unreleased Difford & Tilbrook-penned songs: 'Depression', 'I Don't Like Love', 'Misunderstanding' and 'Holiday Makers'. The artwork humorously features the older and wiser 2007 version of Glenn recreating his slightly off-kilter stance from the East Side Story cover. Quixotic.
