A slow moving but beautiful look at a boy of about ten (Diego Puente) living in a state institution and on the streets of Argentina. In the reformatory, he is misunderstood, abused, has some trouble with his peers, but once the lad breaks free, he manages to find some joy in life, despite his harsh surrounding environment. Will it last, or is our little hero destined to be captured by the police who are searching for him? Somewhat of a mix between The 400 Blows and Pixote, the latter of which it had to have influenced. A real winner! Official DVD release, beware of fake copies. Caution: Contains nudity and violence.
