Product Review
Native to North America, the turkey is a stable of American history and tradition. It can be found in the wild, on the farm, and of course on the dinner table. A male turkey is called a Tom. Only Toms make the famous "gobble" sound. Female turkeys (Hens) do not gobble. Their growth rate is much faster than that of humans. A male turkey can weigh up to 30 pounds just 18 weeks after hatching. Although sometimes called flightless, this large and beautiful bird is fully capable of taking to the skies for a couple hundred yards.
