The Firehouse Five Plus Two were mostly comprised of cartoon animators from the from the Disney Studios and their spontaneous sessions were often injected with a good dose of humour. 'Stoking The Fire' follows on from the success of the first volume (JASCD426 - 'Settin' The World On Fire) and is a great second helping, showing what a fun and lively jazz band The Firehouse Five were. Also included in this fantastic new set are rare recordings of the band with Bing Crosby and Ella Fitzgerald.
