These sponges are compressed into thin rectangles for convenient storage. When the sponge is needed, simply immerse in water and it quickly expands to it's full size. The sponge expands to a full size of 4" x 3" x 1". They're highly absorbent and sturdy enough for the toughest jobs while remaining gentle on your cookware and finest tableware.
