From the BMC Toys AMERICAN HERO COLLECTOR SERIES, the most iconic moment from the Pacific War theater: The Battle of IWO JIMA 32 piece plastic army men set features 6 Marines raising the American flag on Mount Suribachi, plus 19 different figures including 12 United Stated Marines in sage green and 14 Japanese Soldiers in butternut tan.

Made from fairly stiff, very durable, polypropylene plastic with excellent detail and almost no flashing, figures stand up to 2.45 inches tall and are about 1:32nd scale. These figures were adapted from original designs of fine metal miniatures and are officially licensed by King & Country.

BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic style of the 1950s and 1960s.

Packaged in polybag with header card and recommended for ages 5 and up. The 2017 release features all new header card art.
