Highly detailed 1/35 scale model kit of the Sd.Kfz.171, a World War II German tank commonly known as the Panther. The Panther was first introduced into the "Battle of Kursk" in mid 1943 to counter the highly acclaimed Soviet T-34 tank. Like the Soviet T-34, the Panther featured sloped-armor, and unlike heavier Tiger tanks, the Panther was faster and more maneuverable. Armed with the Rheinmetall-Borsig 75 mm main gun, the Panther was capable of knocking out any tank fielded by the Allies in the Second World War. This 1/35 scale model kit depicts the very rare Ausf. G steel-wheel version of the Panther tank. This kit features parts to model the very rare steel-wheel Panther G, 1 detailed tank crew figure, and lots of accessories.
