In many cultures, the markings on the surface of the moon were seen to form the outline of a rabbit, giving rise to many stories about this Moon Rabbit, most prominent in Chinese folklore and Aztec mythology. Our Moon Bunnies are stylized rabbits for the garden, in two sizes, nestling down in the foliage.
