The SGM-12 is a battery powered condenser shotgun microphone with a user selectable cardioid / supercardioid polar pattern. It can be used to mount onto a video camera (with optional mount), or used for speech and instrument recording applications such as choirs, theatrical performances, and more. The SGM-12 has a frequency response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz. It is powered with an AA or NiMH rechargeable battery and features a male XLR connector. It is built with rugged die-cast alloy housing on rubber padding to minimize mechanical coupling of surface vibrations to the microphone.
