Wolf spiders have eight eyes in three rows. They can be easily identified by these distinct eyes. Like all other spiders, they like to eat insects, which make them a natural insect repellent. Aphids, Beetles and smaller spiders are all part of their diet. They prefer to live on the ground in meadows, fields or forests. Wolf spiders do not build webs. Instead, they sneak up on their prey and paralyze it with a poisonous bite.
