This is a Shinwa Japanese 10" sliding bevel gauges. The blade is 8 3/4" long, x 3/4" wide and base is 9 3/4" long and 3/4" wide. Both blade and base are made from hardened stainless steel and are milled and not stamped. It has a knurled brass tightening knob. This tool is excellent for determining and transferring angles from one piece to another.
