This caliper comes with its own storage case and has a rolling thumb mechanism for smooth, one-hand use. The accuracy of this stainless steel caliper is +/- 0.001". The retracted length is 9-1/8" and the extended length is 15-1/4". The dial diameter is 1-1/2".
