These five adorable little wooden bowls can be nested together, stacked in a variety of ways, or used imaginatively as play dishes and cups: these stacking bowls are incredibly versatile! Stacked height is apx. 8 inches, apx. 4 inches in diameter. The largest bowl measures 4 in. diameter by 1.5-inches tall. The smallest bowl measures approximately 1.25-inches in diameter. These small wooden bowls from Grimm's (in the rainbow colors) was a winner of the prestigious SPIEL GUT ("Good Toy") Award, -- a quality mark awarded by the German Design Association's Committee of Games and Toys. Such an award recognizes high quality children toys that are also ecologically sensible. This toy is made from European alder wood and finished with nontoxic, water based dyes. Wood is an ideal material for children's toys, as bacteria cannot reproduce on wood. Most Grimm's products are grinded by hand -- which gives a more charming expression compared to machined products. All dyes used are water based and in accordance with EN-71, are harmless to your health and suitable for children toys. The same is true for the natural oil used.
