Overbearing news director George Findlay - played by series writer, director and executive producer Finkleman - is obsessed with casualty statistics in his quest for ratings, and in acquiring an indoor parking spot. The tumultuous newsroom also features Peter Keleghan as the self-absorbed anchor Jim Walcott, Tanya Allen, the intern with attitude, and Mark Farrell as an ass-kissing producer. Other characters are deftly portrayed by Jeremy Hotz, Karen Hines, and Dave Hubbard
