1/2 CTS coupler pushfit plastic fitting for the connection of plastic or copper pipe. Suitable for the plumbing of domestic hot and cold water. Complies with the applicable sections of the latest edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code and the International Plumbing Code including behind-the-wall installations. Speedfit products are manufactured in compliance with AB1953, ASTM F877, CSA B137-5 and ASSE 1061. Designed, manufactured and assembled in the UK by John Guest Speedfit. Connectors use a grip then seal collet arrangement. Simply push the fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut to lock in place. Should the need arise to demount the connection unlock the nut and push the collet towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe to release. The fitting ensures an easier working environment in confined spaces and removes the need for tools (no torches, crimpers or glues).
