Replace your old Mavea filter with this maxtra filter, and keep enjoying tasty, filtered, and refreshing water. It is designed for use with all Mavea pour-through-filter systems, and uses carbon and ion exchange beads to reduce chemicals, organic compounds, and heavy metals in your water. No pre-soaking is needed for use, and a handy micro-screen prevents black carbon particles from entering your water. The filter can be used with Mavea's recycling program, which encourages environmentally-friendly living, and they only need replacing after 40 gallons, or approximately 2 months, of use.
