Recordings of an elder statesman of the blues. Smith who was born in Mississippi in 1932, had his best years during the 1990s. Today, his voice sounds tired, and his guitar playing doesn't possess his trademark tone any more. Frank Goldwasser is doing a great job in taking over part of this.
