My 101 Drum Circle Rhythms DVD is 2 hours of great ethnic drumming beats for the hand drum. Lots of interesting and fun hand drumming rhythms from around the world. They are perfect for the Djembe, Congas, Doumbek, Bongos, and more.

It's not really intended as an instructional DVD, but more as a collection of different rhythms to play and improvise from. Each rhythm is about a minute long. Plenty of time to absorb, and get into them. It's an easy to follow numbered set you can have a lot of fun, and get more enjoyment out of hand drumming with. Just watch and jam along

It's a huge volume of material. 101 rhythms will keep you busy for a long time. It's ideal for intermediate to professional level drummers, but a beginner can grow into these. Many of these rhythms are at slower tempos, so if you are new to drumming, you will still have plenty to work with. You can easily see my hand movements, and all the rhythms being played up close. The entire DVD is a close up shot of me playing a djembe, rhythm after rhythm, with no distractions. I use simple hand technique that anyone can follow.

It gives you an idea of how the various notes and sounds are made. It is not necessarily the only way to play them, but more as a starting point for you to expand your repertoire. You can pick them up quickly and easily. If you choose to purchase, thanks in advance for helping to support independent artists and music.
