Argentinean-Israeli pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim leads the Weiner Philharmonic Orchestra for the 2009 New Year's Concert in Vienna. The programme is comprised mainly of symphonies, waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss I and II, but also includes the 'Spanish Waltz' by Hellmesberger and Haydn's Symphony no. 45 in F sharp minor ('Farewell').
