Young boy Bill Peck (Cooper) adores his father, Henry (Meighan), and does whatever he can to win his father's approval. However, Bill's world is turned upside down when he learns that he was adopted by his father, and then his horrible Aunt Lily Clay (Peterson) and her spoiled son Horace (Searl) come to live with Bill and Henry for good. Bratty Horace is a trouble-maker who is able to get Bill in trouble all the time, and Aunt Lily wants Horace to be Henry's number one kid. But Aunt Lily underestimates the strong, loving bond between the father and son. Heartwarming family story, with Jackie Cooper at his young best.
