Zond was the old Russian name for Unidentified Flying Objects. A name which accords perfectly with the speedy Nomad Remotes.

The Nomad nation has a long tradition in the use of remotes. In Corregidor, they are frequently used for maintenance of the space craft and for working on EVA. For Bakunin, the remotes are an element in experimentation and development of interfaces and systems, which can later be applied to other applications, such as war or commerce. In Tunguska, they are much appreciated as a support element for its hacker and cracker community.
