The Gohitsu incense stick series from Seikado is designed to deliver the traditional Japanese scent in the contemporary age.

Gohitsu (“Five Brushes”) is named after the 8th Century Japanese Buddhist monk Kukai, who traveled to China and was given the title Gohitsu-Osho (“The Priest who writes with Five Brushes”) by the Emperor for writing with five brushes simultaneously using his body.

Jinko Gohitsu is an incense that has been created by combining 3 precious agarwood (Tani, Siam and “earth”) and 10 other Chinese ingredients to produce a fantastic scent.
