Pool trowels are very popular in the interior finishing stages for swimming pools. This is because the rounded blade ends and the shorter mount which allows the blade to flex with the curvature of the pool. The finisher must be careful not to "burn" the plaster while troweling, leaving discoloration on the interior finish.
