St. Francis is the Patron Saint of Animals. * * * This pendant is reversible and features a dog on one side with an image of St. Francis on the reverse side. St. Francis, because of his love for all of God's creatures, is considered the Patron Saint of Animals and is usually featured in images with animals at his side. The motto on the back says: "St. Francis of Assisi Protector of Animals." (Only one medal, but both sides of medal are shown in photo.) * * * The medal is crafted in a pewter finish, measures 1-1/8" x 7/8" and is MADE IN THE USA. Quality-made, not like cheaper imports. Comes with a clip to attach to the collar. * * * Also included in package is a Prayer Card with color print of Saint Francis (4-1/8" x 2-3/8").
